Our first building 

Brief History,

Daniel's Youth School of Ministry International came into existence in 1992 through a joint collaboration between the founder, Rev. Elizabeth E. Ahadzi and some reverend ministers of the First Baptist Church as well as other pastors from Pentecostal and charismatic churches all in Tema. It was formed because the founder realised the need of providing spiritual guidance to the youth and children so that they may develop to be morally upright and God-fearing citizens, through leading them to have a personal salvation and faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and soon coming King. The first office of the ministry was at community 9, Tema at the house of the founder's senior sister. The office was later removed to community 1, Tema at the house of the founder's mother. By Divine connection and also the favour of God, the ministry received help from one of its dynamic partners in the person of Mr. Bob Milikin (director of Acquatec Marine Services) who rented a house at Adjei Kojo. This was used as the ministry's office and also to start the first formal school. He later introduced the ministry to yet another of our committed partners Mr. Keith and wife Sister Jane and their daughter, Tracy, who rallied support from teachers and children in her school, Lowfurness. They purchased land which is currently being developed as school, office complex and rest room. Prior to that, the Castro company led by Mr. Gareth was taking care of the feeding. May God richly bless them. It is help from such committed partners that has enabled her to establish two schools, one at Adjei Kojo and the other at Baatsonaa. There are also rooms for some of the youth staying with her. Both schools are still under construction. We are believing God to bring in more partners to help raise the schools to the best standard. The purpose of the name Daniel.

The reason why I chose Daniel is related to his character as committed to his Jewish religion, his mode of integrity, his faithfulness to his God, his firmness when it comes to decision taking, his uncompromising nature, his faithfulness, commitment towards his assignment in each given time. Main meaning of Daniels- My God is judge or the highly favored one.Putting all these virtues together I think in the 21st century, this is what the generation needs.
