PRIMARY EDUCATION (KOCHOLA JUNIOR ACADEMY AND OPHANAGE HOME)

 
The Kochola junior academy and ophanage home is expected to provide learning opportunities for children in a well coordinated programme and is expected to meet the following objectives:


To nurture children in Christian foundational teachings so as to enhance their spiritual and moral being (make disciples of Jesus Christ to transform the world).
To lead to acquisition of literacy, numeracy and manipulative skills.
 
To develop ability for clear logical thinking through critical judgement.
 
To develop ability of self-expression, self-discipline, self-reliance, and full utilization of a child’s senses.
 
To enable the development of desirable social standards and attitudes.
 
To lead to acquisition of basic computer literacy.
To lead to development of constructive and adaptive attitudes to life based on moral and religious values and responsibility to the community and nation.
To lead to appreciation of one’s and other people’s cultural heritage.
