The objectives of the Early Childhood Education (ECD) programme include:

To nurture children in Christian foundational teachings so as
to enhance their
spiritual and moral being (make disciples of Jesus Christ to
transform the world).

To improve the nutritional status of children and provide them
with a secure
physical and psychosocial setting.

To develop the integrated nurturing of children’s affective,
cognitive and
physical attributes.

To develop children’s self confidence and free expression,
social values and
appreciation of other people’s needs and views.

To develop children’s knowledge of physical and biological world.

These activities are aimed at promoting holistic development of
the child (cognitive,
social, physical, linguistic, moral, emotional, and spiritual.)
