I want to bring to your attention that we started this institution
together with my wife as a private school in May 2013 to be able to
provide quality education to the community. This was the only way I
could pay back to the society where i come from. At the start we
only had 9 pupils in pre-school. The number rose to 100 and then
currently to 250 pupils within this short time. We again realised
that some of the pupils were complete orphans and every evening they
could follow my wife to my home as other pupils were released to go
back home because they feared going back to the relatives they were
staying with as a result of frustrations they were facing. My wife
suggested that we could accommodate them in one of our rooms. The
number of orphans increased to 20 and this number was too much for
us to have in our house. My wife decided that we start an orphanage.
I agreed with the idea and went for a loan because i work with the
Government of Kenya in the Ministry of Agriculture and my wife is a
trained teacher with the Government. We used the loan to put up an
orphanage which has costed us Kenya shillings 700 thousand. My second
loan was we have been using in feeding the 50 orphans. Brothers and
Sisters, this number is overwhelming given that the orphans stay on
full board in the orphanage which is adjacent to the school. I do not
know of my next step in getting funds to feed them. I appeal to anyone
reading this proposal that if God touches you, you can stand with us in
prayers and above all sponsor an orphan at only 50 dollars per orphan
per month and God will richly bless you. You have gone through the
proposed budget. You can take an item and sponsor like digging a
borehole for water because water is a major problem in the area.
Our classrooms are also as you have seen in the photos are not in
good condition. I believe that God will lead you to stand with us.
