The Pre-School (ECD) and Primary section has picked up well.
The Pre-School
consists of Baby Class, Middle Class and Pre-Unit; whereas the
Primary School has
progressed from Class One to Class five.The orphanage home has so
far registered 50
complete orphans

The Population of the pupils registered for both the Pre-school and
Primary
School Education has risen from 9 Pupils in January 2013 to 230
pupils in January
2015, with 1/3 of the population being orphans.

The administration has successfully introduced a feeding programme
(Breakfast
and Lunch) for the pupils (mostly the hard to reach groups whose
majority are
orphans).Complete Orphans are accommodated in the orphanage home

The Administration has organised two successful education tours to
Kisumu in
June 2014 and January 2015 for all the pupils. The pupils and staff
were able to visit
several sites of educational importance which included Kisumu Museum,
Kisumu
International Airport, Oseniela Retreat Centre and Radio Lake Victoria
FM station
among others.

Kochola junior academy and ophanage home has secured a committed, diligent,
and result oriented team players as members of staff. The staff members
consist of
young, visionary, highly motivated and born again Christians who are
given to
nurturing the generation in moral, excellence and Christ likeness.

With the rural setting of the Kochola junior academy and ophanage home,
the
Centre has a success story in language establishment among the rural
folks. The
Educational Centre has nurtured the pupils at early age to adopt
English and Swahili
as the interaction language.

Excellence in academic standards and performance. The Education Centre
has
emerged top in several joint exams done in the region with other
private and public
schools.

The Education Centre has gained the trust and confidence of the local
community. This can be noted in the constant student admission in the
school.

The Education Centre has raised funds to purchase land (About 1/4 acre)
to
build an educational centre of excellence for the growing population.

The Education Centre is growing to witness the accomplishment of the
vision of
its founders (Steve Nyandiko and Ruth Nyandiko), who have remained the
parents of the
population.
